ST3-3156 | Arabic fonts problem

Just compare these screenshots of same text.

native notepad exe: (same_host)/2018-01-03_121347.jpg
sublime text 3: (same_host)/2018-01-03_121430.jpg

Before reinstalling Windows i get font like notepad.exe in sublime, now… sublime work incorectly - letter spacing.

i tried to change font, install fallback_encoding setting, install and remove ST2 bidirectional support… no results. Please help me understand.

Arabic uses RTL (right-to-left) text layout, which is not supported by Sublime Text. It can’t work.

Am sure there are people that could say me HOW TO WORK without WHY DO NOT WORK

I think it need to be supported by Sublime Text core. There is some packages which attempts to fix this, but seems to not work correctly. You can try it out:


While doing that, you can up vote this feature request on the Sublime Text GitHub issue tracker:
