Everything was working fine. Then I tried to install unity completions, and that was taking a very long time (ctrl+` showed nothing happening, but the status bar said it was installing). I left for a while and came back, forgot I was waiting for that, and closed the program with Alt+F4, and now the program is “not responding” every time I start it.
I’m using Ubuntu 14.04, and I installed from the webupd8.org ppa.
I’m having very similar symptoms on OSX with 3083.
Usually after i do command-p to open a file, the dialog box will fail to fully render and ST will stop responding.
Then I have to force-quit and restart. Happens at least once or twice daily.

Mostly meaningless to me, but looks like ST is hanging somewhere inside of “catalogue_rescan_operation::merge_dir”
Any help is appreciated.
