ST3 3059 Goto Anything Broken

I’ve installed build 3059 and everything seems to be working fine until I hit this problem with goto anything that automatically closes when typing a few characters. Each window has different number of characters you need to type before it closes the search window. I tried to reinstall, close all apps, restart and nothing works. Last resort is to revert back to previous build till this get’s fixed.

Build: From 3047 to 3059
Machine: Linux tactical-main 3.11.0-14-generic #21-Ubuntu SMP Tue Nov 12 17:07:40 UTC 2013 i686 i686 i686 GNU/Linux

I tried to search for possible identical problem but found none so far. If anyone experienced the same thing and found a fix, sharing it is very much appreciated.

Hi, same problem here.
I noticed the following strange behavior for versions after 3047:

  1. Create a file ‘file.txt’ in any random folder and open that folder in sublime.
  2. ctrl+k+up to tile the view.
  3. Focus the right window. ctrl+p (Goto anything) and choose ‘file.txt’
  4. Focus the left window. ctrl+p (Goto anything) and try to choose ‘file.txt’ again and BAAAAAM.

So now try to focus the windows the other way round!

  1. and 2) as before
  2. Focus the left window. ctrl+p (Goto anything) and choose ‘file.txt’
  3. Focus the right window. ctrl+p (Goto anything) and try to choose ‘file.txt’ again and

NOW sublime will just shutdown the right view!

Can anybody reproduce this behavior? I am on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS 64bit.

I’m seeing this behavior as well since upgrading to 3059 and I just tested 3061. The Goto Anything closes itself after the first couple of characters are typed. Any ideas on a fix?

I’m using Windows 7 64-bit and 64-bit ST3 3061.

I’ve been hoping to see an update on this. Any news? I’m having this exact same issue (Goto Anything closing after typing a couple of characters) on two separate Windows 7 64-bit machines with both 3059 and 3061. It’s been driving me absolutely insane for about a month now :confused:

By the way, I just discovered that, at least for me, this issue was caused by the plugin Tabright. Removing it got my Goto Anything working correctly again, yay!
