Following the advice of the sidebargit installation page, I downloaded a new “package control.sublime-package” and placed it in the installed packages directory. It was called package control (1).sublime-package. Now whenever I try to open ST2, it throws the error “…open the preferences/package and rename it to package control.sublime-package…” But I can’t open ST to do that. I’ve tried just navigating to the “Installed packages” directory and changing the name there, but it won’t do any good unless I can open ST.
The reason I was trying to get this installed was so I could commit the code on my Github account. Right now I have a bunch of code I can’t access so I’m a little reticent to re-install.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
