ST2 > ST3 Upgrade Path?

Hi All,

I love ST2. I purchased a license and downloaded ST3. I have both ST2 and ST3 running on my iMac.

I know it’s a BETA release, but I wonder if there is some upgrade path that simplifies importing ST2 settings into ST3?

Things like ST2 preferences and key bindings? Packages I already use? The theme I already use?

Is this all a manual process that has to be repeated?

Also, if I open and save ST2 project files with ST3, can I open them with ST2 later? Or has the project file format changed?

Your can copy the User folder from Packages to the new Packages folder.
I didn’t get any problems.

The packages folder can be found:
Windows: %APPDATA%/Sublime Text 2
OS X: ~/Library/Application Support/Sublime Text 2
Linux: ~/.Sublime Text 2

I think I tried that and got messages about package compatibility issues.
But I’ll give it another try.
