ST rearranges saved files on Windows Desktop

Hello!

I’m using Sublime Text 3 and when I edit a text file on my Desktop and save it, the position where file is located on the Desktop is changed.

I have the order on my Desktop: each icon has its convenient position.
But when I edit and save some file using Sublime Text, the position of file is lost, and file appears in the left top corner of the Desktop.
This is very tiresome: I need after each saving to return the file to its place. Again and again.

I hope very much this can be fixed. Thank you!

That is because with atomic_save, which is the default, Sublime Text saves to a new file and renames that back to the original. Set atomic_save to false in your user settings file if this bothers you.
