ST Git integration: sometimes it is disabled, but I don't get why

Hi.

I realized that when I open files within some git repositories I have the Git integration running and with other repositories it doesn’t show up.

In the console panel I get the message “git: tracking working dir …” when opening the first file of a repository on which the Git integration works, but nothing for the other repositories.

Why? What can I check?

By “the Git integration” what specific feature are you referring to?

You’re right, I should be more clear
I’m referring to the name of the current branch in the status bar, the ‘Blame file’ context menu item that opens Sublime Merge, the coloured gutter on the far that shows the diffs. On some repositories I have none of them.
