Is there a way to have a square cursor rather than a line?

On your Preferences > File Settings - Default, there is a setting called “caret_style.” The default is: "caret_style": "smooth" You can change smooth to “phase”, “blink”, “wide” or “solid.” Hope this helps.

The wide setting works pretty well, but it’s not a solid box. I wonder if implementing that would be possible?
