SQL Data extraction help

#1

Hello all, first post here but been reading some and theres some super smart folk here

My issue:
I have an Sql file which is friggin huge lol, around 80 million characters. it is a download of my old sites database and i am wanting to extract just the emails. I have opened it in sublime and thought i may be able to select certain datapoints, eg anything with an @ symbol. Is this possible or am i totally off the ball here.

Thanks in advance

If I need to manipulate text in an large file that is not even suitable to be opened in ST, then I may go with sed (for replacing string) and grep (for find string). You can easily find something like https://emailregex.com/#crayon-5dcf0d9dc1605358766311

I am not sure whether “80 million” is large for ST though (turn off the syntax highlight may help), but is not large for a DB dump for sure.
