See attached screenshot. I right clicked on the first tab (Token.sol) --> Split View, but instead of showing the second tab (Token.test.js) side by side, Sublime duplicated the first tab (Token.sol) again. What did I do wrong? How do I see Token.sol tab and Token.test.js tab side by side at the same time? Thanks!

You can view two existing tabs at the same time my multi-selecting them (ctrl+mouse1 or cmd+mouse1). Split view gives you a split view of the one tab.
