Spelling Ignore List / Custom Dictionary

Hello,

I have 2 questions about the spelling feature in Sublime Text.

  1. Where is the ignore list kept. I added a word to ignore by mistake and would like to remove it from this list.
  2. Is it possible to add a custom dictionary on top of the base dictionary. For example something like:
    “dictionary”: “Packages/Language - English/en_US.dic”, “my_dictionary.dic”]

Maybe #2 is the same thing as #1. If I knew where the ignore list was and could manage it, adding words to that would be like defining them in a custom dictionary.

Any help would be appreciated.

I would also love the easy ability to have personal dictionary/s on top of existing hunspell dictionaries.

The ignore list is usually kept in preferences->settings-user. At least, I haven’t found ignored words anywhere else. You can add words which will be persistent across sessions there. If your settings-user file does not yet have an ignored words list, add it using this format (the two words here are examples only) - note the absence of comma following the last word:

“ignored_words”:

“neoliberal”,
"ethnographically
]
