Speed up in WSL 2

I try Sublime Merge in WSL 2. The speed file operation in Sublime Merge is slow. Can it make to speed up?

Which version of Sublime Merge are you using? Are your files in the linux filesystem or the windows filesystem? Is Sublime Merge running from the linux filesystem or the windows filesystem? Is Sublime Merge running from linux or windows?

WSL2 seems to have some performance issues when going though the windows filesystem (See here and here). I’d suggest either using WSL1 until Microsoft decides to fix this issue, running Sublime Merge within WSL (using a windows X server), or keeping your files on windows.
