Hi

Concerning the keys you press to get the control panel on ST3, I can’t type them because none of the pre-formatting controls on This Editor will allow me:

How do I put some kind of text formatting on ctrl+. Because the is quite small I’ve been trying to make ctrl+` bold or italics or use pre-formatted text but it just all end’s up a mess. For example:

Quotes is the prob the best, but still pretty unsatisfactory. Seems a bit of an over sight that I can’t actually reference the keys pressed you’d use to open the control panel to diagnose a fault and help someone else on the forum that’s designed to help people out. Surely I missing some special technique to be able to put the characters ctrl+ ` together in bold, so that I can finish off this post please. Ta

escaping with a backslash seems working.

I tried that (b/c that’s an ST3 trick)… I’ll give it a go…

So the above is with a \ the first one works, but not the second. There seems to be a “carry on” effect, with one set of special characters then effecting others down the line…

ctrl+` the ` … ctrl+` bold

Just given it a go without copy and paste, yep it works. Thanks, now I can finish off my original post, and do some work !! Nice one. :hugs:
