[SOLVED] Started crashing on startup

#1

I hadn’t used the PC in question in a few years. Opened ST2 successfully the first time, though I had some messages I ignored because I was trying to quickly grab some information from an old project. Went to run it again today and get the following error.

Error trying to parse file: Trailing comma before closing bracket in C:\Users\Vattic\AppData\Roaming\Sublime Text 2\Packages\LESS\Default.sublime-keymap:37:3

I wouldn’t mind so much, but I have a bunch of unsaved documents in various projects that I would like to recover.

Any thoughts?

You can open that file, go to that location and remove the trailing comma that it’s unhappy about. Keymaps are JSON, and JSON requires commas between items in a list, but it’s strict about the last item in the list not having a comma on it.

The parser in ST3 is more lenient and allows that, since it makes life easier in general (it also supports comments).
