[SOLVED] "Select All" loses the cursor position

When using Ctrl+A (Select All), the cursor goes to the last line.
“Alt-” doesn’t return to the original line before pressing Ctrl+A
How to fix this?

both alt + - and ctrl + u work on my side.

Ctr+U solved the problem.
