[solved] Prevent package control from updating packages

#1

Hello!

I’m pretty sure this question has been already ask, but I can’t find it…

How can I prevent package control from updating my packages when I start sublime text? I’m building MarkdownLivePreview right now, and I have to restart sublime text a lot (it crashes…). And every time, it “lags” because packages control is checking.

Thanks in advance,

Matt

set auto_upgrade to false in your Package Control settings:

// If packages should be automatically upgraded when ST starts
"auto_upgrade": false,

You do this in Preferences settings right? Didn’t find any “auto_grade” setting in default settings. I am using ST2.

TIA for clarifying.

in ST3 it’s Preferences - Package Settings - Package Control - Settings - User. Should be the same for ST2 because there is only one branch of Package Control, nothing separate for ST2.

Thanks @kingkeith, and sorry, I search for update and not upgrade in the Package Control.sublime-settings. Sorry again.
