[Solved] Install not successful (3126)

Hello all,

I first tried installing Sublime text 3 on my Ubuntu 16.04 via the webupd8 ppa. That was not successful, as I found when I tried to install the package manager, and upon opening the console saw all of the errors, The package manager would not install. When Ctrl + Shft + P and typed install packge then hit enter, it said no packages to install. I then uninstalled, and downloaded the latest from the website. Upon install, there are still error messages, as can be seen here:

Any suggestions what I need to do to rectify this?

seems like it is not the first time you have used ST, and you have some old versions of plugins installed. try reverting to a clean state:
