[SOLVED] Extra single space on #include line

#1

I’m not sure where this comes from but I’m finding it rather irritating

At the top of my c++ file I have a whole bunch of #include statements. Whenever I go to add a new one, I find a line and hit enter to get a new line, but this new line ALWAYS starts one space in, so I have to backspace and then enter my new #include file. I know it’s minor but it’s frustrating, does anyone know how to fix this?

There’s probably a line above your #includes that has a leading space. I don’t know of any way to shut this off (wish I could!).

Yea, I modified the lines about the #include section and got it to go away, at the slight expense of some formatting up top. You’d think that after half a dozen lines of no leading space it would get the hint…

I think the problem is that it doesn’t count empty lines when trying to figure out indentation. Personally I think it’s really annoying :stuck_out_tongue:
