Solutions for Sublime and WSL updating the document tree?

#1

So I am now using WSL2 for development on linux hosts. Liking it a GREAT deal - however. There are issues with ST3/4 not updating the document tree when creating a new document or folder.

From what I have been reading this has something to do with the linux filesystem (ext4) not generating notifications for the windows system (10 in my case) … i.e. ST3/4 never “gets the memo”

OK - fine, makes sense it’s a WSL issue that they have to address, not ST3/4.

Is there a solution other than hurry up and wait for M$ to make a fix or refreshing the document tree every time you think a file may have changed?

Even if I do a refresh on the tree, it takes a good 5/6 seconds for it to update anyway. (that and my refresh hotkeys not working makes it a grand pain in the butt!)
