Simple question I hope - why is my cursor like this?

Why isn’t it a thin normal cursor? No matter what I change theme to it is still like this.

ps: insert doesn’t seem to be turned on - and might be Mac OS X Yosemite issue - now cursor is normal thin but just as tall

Simple answer: add this to your config:

	"caret_extra_bottom": 2,
	"caret_extra_top": 2,
	"caret_extra_width": 2

eventuall adjust the numbers.
