simple_full_screen bug on Mac

#1

This is minor but something that has bugged me for ages. Maybe it’s easy to fix.

I use:

"use_simple_full_screen": true,

on latest OS X + nightly ST3, and when I have two projects open in fullscreen, and Close Window (cmd-shift-w) on one project, the menubar reappears on the remaining fullscreen project.

I then have to cmd-ctrl-f twice to Exit Full Screen + Enter Full Screen for the menubar to again disappear.

Is there any way to avoid this?

I guess Mavericks will be introducing a more usable native fullscreen for multiple monitors, but I really like the use_simple_full_screen behavior of ST3 (minus this one issue).

Thanks!

Coming back to post another issue with use_simple_full_screen (keyboard focus gets lost in the ether, requiring a restart or unfullscreen->minimize->restore), I found this ancient post of mine, ha. I realized after searching around that this oldskool flag isn’t supported any longer. I do much prefer this to the native fullscreen, as I seem to always have several projects open at once, but guess it’s time to let it go…RIP use_simple_full_screen.
