Sidebar plugin that allows 'move to trash'?

#1

I want a sidebar plugin whose right-click menu includes a “move to trash” option, instead of ST3’s “delete”.

The SidebarEnhancements plugin advertises such a feature but after installing it, well, er, “move to trash” still isn’t anywhere to be seen. (?)

I also tried the “FileManager” plugin, but it doesn’t seem to even advertise a “move to trash” option.

Has someone gotten this to work for them?

FileManager names it “Delete”.

the default “Delete” functionality uses the Python send2trash package, there’s no need for anything third party here

Yes I’ve discovered there’s something wrong with my OS X Trash. The system has been putting trashed files in a hidden ‘.Trash’ folder in the home directory instead of in the usual trash folder. Nothing to do with Sublime Text.

Thanks…

OK one last update: the true (even sillier) confusion on my part is that I had folder named “Trash” in my home directory that I thought was the system trash, and I was looking in there for deleted files instead of in the true trash.

The true system trash is “.Trash” in the home directory. I’ve since deleted the impostor “Trash” directory, that truly deserved to be .Trash-ed
