Previously when I would type “subl .” in a terminal, Sublime would open and the side bar would appear with the files/folders in my current working directory. It seems after the latest update this has stopped working. Does anyone have that same issue or knows how I can fix this? I really miss this feature.
Side bar not opening when launching with folder as argument

The state of the sidebar is persisted between sessions, so perhaps it got accidentally turned off somehow. Have you tried using the View > Side Bar
menu item to see if that will toggle it on or not?

Hmm I think I may have solved it. I had another window with just a single file open (and no side bar), and if I closed all other windows (with side bars on), and then open a folder, no side bar would appear.
After closing all windows (and the entire app), then opening a single file, and then opening a folder and enabling side bars, then even when closing all windows with side bars it still shows the side bar when I launch subl with a folder name. Perhaps it had gotten in some weird state.
