Shows hidden status bar when mouse moves

#1

I’ve hided status bar through View>hide status bar, and it disappears, but when I move mouse it shows status bar.

The issue is ST showing hidden controls as soon as the mouse moves - no matter where no matter how far. It should rather track mouse position and reveal controls (status bar, menu) only, if cursor is near by.

This issue was tracked at, but closed as I stopped using that auto_hide stuff out of frustration about this issue.

Is there any way that ST not to track mouse movement?

Which wouldn’t make sense for an “auto_hide_” feature, would it?

To mermanently hide the status bar you would probably like to Main Menu > View > Hide Statusbar

If you want the status bar always off, hide it and turn off the setting that makes mouse movement reveal it.

Oh, because I’ve been previously added the auto_hide_, when I was trying View>Hide Statusbar, it would be like auto_hide_ functionality. Removing auto_hide_statusbar from settings, and View>Hide statusbar, solved my issue.

Is there any way to do that in settings file? (not auto_hide_*)
