Hi,
I have several plugins which show helpful information in the status bar. However, I often work in fullscreen mode, that’s why it would come in handy to allow the status bar to be shown in fullscreen mode. How is this possible? I was not able to figure it out.
Show status bar in fullscreen mode
There is two “fullscreen” mode : the simple fullscreen where the status bar and tabs are visible and the distraction-free mode where nothing is visible except the current tab.
Either you are in distraction-free mode and what you are asking is not possible, you have to use the fullscreen mode. Or you are in fullscreen mode and the status bar is not enable (Palette -> Toggle status bar). Or maybe we are not talking about the same version (I’m using latest ST3).
Hi,
yeah, I meant the distraction-free mode, sorry. I want to see nothing else but the current tab and the status bar. But ok, if you say this is not possible…
You can configure the fullscreen mode to be very similar to the distraction free: you can hide the tabs and the menu map. The only difference would be the centered view and the line number.
start distraction-free mode ShiftF11
force show of main menu Alt
navigate to View
▷ Show Status bar
presto
Or, when in distraction free mode. Press Ctrl+Shift+P for the command pallette, then type ‘togstat’. The command pallette is the sublime way, and will work in Linux, Mac and Windows - whereas the ‘alt’ trick only works in windows.
