Show release notes before updating

#1

Hello there,

when a new update is available, you only get the option to update without listing what’s changed (release notes). This isn’t good behavior. Would be great to see what changed in the new version and what changed in the last versions, too (so you can compare not only one release note, but more).

Currently, it often seems risky updating before knowing what’s new…

“But the plans were on display…”
“On display? I eventually had to go down to the cellar to find them.”
“That’s the display department.”
“With a flashlight.”
“Ah, well, the lights had probably gone.”
“So had the stairs.”
“But look, you found the notice, didn’t you?”
“Yes,” said Arthur, “yes I did. It was on display in the bottom of a locked filing cabinet stuck in a disused lavatory with a sign on the door saying ‘Beware of the Leopard.”

Showing release notes before updating it’s very important. Look at all interfaces: Apple Store, Google Play market etc. I don’t have time for searching where on the site placed dev changelog.
