Show commit hash in the commit timeline

#1

Hey

In the Commits timeline of Sublime Merge, is there any option to show the commit hash (the first 6 digits) alongside each commit; in a similar way to where we see the author’s name.

sublime-merge-Google-Search

It would be super helpful, as otherwise, I have to click on each commit to see the hash. I know I can navigate to a commit, but the reason for this UI feature request is so I can quickly eyeball the commit hashes are what I am expected when deploying something to a server.

Thanks
Rob

Although I understand that there are situations where this would be useful I’d hope that this would only be an opt-in. For me, in 99,9% of all situations I wouldn’t need this information and it would distract me.

@milkman yes totally agree; having it as a preference option to toggle would be ideal.
