SFTP breaking in build 4126

Sublime is not opening files over SFTP on ubuntu after the update to 4126. It just shows a blank document. gave me a mild heart attack that my files got currupted XD
How I am able to reproduce: mount any machine’s SFTP server on nautilus. Open any text/py/bash file.
How I am able to fix it: rollback to 4121

Do you see any errors in the Sublime console (View > Show Console)?
