I apologize if this is a silly question. I must be doing some thing wrong, but I can’t figure out what it is.
I’m trying to use the AlignTab plugin, and while the plugin seems to be working fine, using it is more trouble than I think it should be.
My usage is that I select some text that I want to align, and then I bring up the command-palette and select AlignTab. It pops open a box to let me type a command, but the problem is that when it opens that box, the text in the box is selected and my original selection is gone. Therefore, when I hit return, my alignment command does nothing (because I don’t have any text selected). To make it work, I need to type the command, then go back to my original window and select my text again, then go back to the AlignTab pop-up and hit return.
Is there some setting I have wrong?
