Selection highlight and search highlight

Hi,

I have a few questions - I looked this up quite a bit but couldn’t find any answers:

  1. When I select text, the entire line is not highlighted unlike most editors, instead only the text that is present on that line is highlighted. Is there any way to have the whole line highlighted?

  2. When doing a ‘find’ the found term is highlighted in a certain color. There is also a border around this element. Is there any way to disable this border (or set a color so that I can set the alpha to 00)?

  3. When doing a ‘find’ all other occurrences are highlighted as well (in a different color) - can I change the color and background of this feature or turn it off altogether?

I found an answer to a part of Q3 - when doing a ‘find’ there is a button that toggles ‘highlight all’. It would still be nice to have the option of having everything highlighted in a faint color without the border.
