Select next occurence not working as expected

#1

As you can see, Ctrl+D is highlighting something in the middle of another word, while the preview after selecting the first j doesn’t show that this would happen.

Is this a bug, or maybe there’s a setting to fix it?

it seems to be by design, though a bit confusing - especially as the word highlighting behaves differently. Because you selected j, ST doesn’t use “whole word” matching mode for the Quick Add Next functionality

I think if you put the cursor between % and j and then press CTRLD to select the first occurrence (so don’t select the first occurrence with your mouse), it will do the thing that you expect it to do (i.e. scope-sensitive).

That works perfectly. Thanks!
