I know there are ways to exclude large files etc., but this has been annoying me for years. Combined with the other annoying behaviour that searching locally doesn’t transfer to global search, it sometimes ends up as a search for a single character or even a space across a large project and I have to force quit Sublime. This is just unacceptable that searching across multiple files isn’t a background process and that it can make the main UI unresponsive.
At the moment it’s unresponsive even after a restart because the Find in Files buffer has some json logs that have long lines.
