Hi,
Since upgrading to version 3.0, when performing a search, I do not see the number of occurrences in the status bar.
I installed the WordCount-st3 package. Did not fix the issue. What should I do to bring back this useful tool that was present in version 2.

Are you referring to the indication of the number of matches found for the current search term and which one the cursor is currently on, as seen here?
If so, so that’s still present but you may have to click the button to turn on Highlight Matches if you’re not seeing it. In this image it’s the button immediately to the left of the search field that looks like a blue rectangle.
