Scroll the buffer by dragging selected text?

I really can’t believe that as of now with official version 3 released, sublimetext still can’t scroll the buffer activated by dragging a selected chunk of text to the upper or lower boundaries (even side boundaries should be supported) of the buffer’s viewport.

I mean this is a basic feature that every other code text editor out there supports, but no… not sublimetext!

indeed, I hope the ST devs will add support for this soon

but one can’t even drag text at all on Linux atm:
