Screen scrolls when i move my mouse

#1

When I move my mouse within the editor, the screen scrolls up and down with it. It’s as if I had the mouse button clicked down on the vertical scroll bar. Or, it’s like I’m using the mouse wheel to move the screen up and down. But I’m not. And it makes it impossible to use.

I know some mice have a side special button to make thing scroll when you move the cursor, but mine doesn’t. It’s just a basic Dell mouse with right and left buttons and a scroll wheel. I’m not having trouble with any other program. Do you think this is a bad mouse thing or is there a setting to change or is it a bug?

I recently upgraded to Build 4152.

I’ve been using Sublime for many years. It’s a great product! I recently moved offices, packed up all my gear, set it up in another spot and updated Sublime to latest version. This is when the issue started.

This is certainly an issue specific to your setup, not one I’ve ever seen before. What operating system are you using?

I finally posted a bug report for a similar issue I’ve been aware of: https://github.com/sublimehq/sublime_text/issues/6142

I’m on Windows 10 Pro.

The problem I described went away, but it happened twice. This last time it happened, it was after I launched ST. Any file I tried working on would scroll the window as I moved the mouse up and down. Later, when I opened a file by clicking on it in Windows Explorer the issue disappeared.

Another possibly relevant thing is that I had a few files open that were on a server that I wasn’t connected to anymore - the mapped drive wasn’t connected. It’s still not connected and I’m not having the issue now.

I’ll let you know it happens again and I’ll try to reproduce it.
