Screen Distorted, Sidebar almost unusable on Linux

#1

I’m moving to a Linux-based laptop (running Elementary Linux 0.4.1 Loki) for working away from my desk. So far, everything is ok, but ST is almost unusable. The screen (mainly the tab area) is distorted and the sidebar is almost unusable (I can click and open items, but not always the item I want). The editor area itself is totally usable, so there’s that, but with the other issues, it makes it hard to get around coding projects.

I’ve taken a photo of the screen to show the issue. Any ideas on how to correct this issue? I’m using the same theme as my Mac desktop, where this issue doesn’t exist. I have the same fonts installed on my laptop as my Mac, so that shouldn’t be the issue.

What build of Sublime Text? Does everything work fine with the Default theme?

My hunch is that the theme is using incorrect capitalization of images in the theme, since Mac is case insensitive and Linux is case sensitive.

ST Build 3160 (Dev channel, same as Mac install).

And it looks like you may be right. Things are sane with the default theme, so I’ll look into fixing that (I never tried the default to start with, since I was syncing my settings across machines using dropbox).

EDIT: I guess I won’t…the theme I was using has apparently been discontinued, and deleted from github…so I guess I’ll just stick with the default theme and my custom color scheme on my laptop .
