Saving size and position in Windows 7

#1

Just a minor annoyance but it would be nice to have it fixed.

When I work in Windows 7 and snap Sublime to the left/right side and exit, it doesn’t open in the ‘snapped position’, but rather in the old unsnapped position and size.

Yes, please.

I tend to use Sublime Text mainly in snapped position (covering 50% of the screen) and it’s really annoying to snap it every single time I open Sublime Text.

Thank you in advance.

To be honest, i don’t think that what you want is a super popular feature, so if you have special request, you should hack your own workaround.

Here you go:
for windows: http://www.autohotkey.com download + install
for linux: https://github.com/polyethene/IronAHK

Save out the following code as *.ahk, change the path location if you need to. In the future start ST2 with this script.

Tested on Win7, taskbar is on the bottom.

Thank you for your suggestion but this isn’t a solution. It’s a hack-ish workaround.

My former code editor – EditPlus – has this capability. It’s really convenient.

Is there any hope for this?
