Revert modifications after saving and closing file

#1

Hello guys! I have a very very very big problem that is killing me right now :frowning:

I thought i’m funny if i multi-task and that’s when i’ve done a very very very big mistake…

I modified a file > saved it > closed the file tab > and then i closed sublime text (3)

After 20 minutes i realised that instead of a 15MB file i’m left with a 1.4MB… And i have no restore point in my system(windows 10) to go back to…

Is there any situation saving solution? :frowning:

Please help me, without this i’m going to die i think

There are packages, like ā€œLocal Historyā€ that will keep snapshots, but those wouldn’t help you now. No remote copy, Time Machine, or other backups?

Time Machine? I could use one of those right now

I have no other backups and i found that thing with Restore points on the internet but when i searched in my pc i came to the conclusion that it works only if you have a restore point saved :frowning:.

The file is an .sql copy of a wordpress database but i don’t have that database on that host anymore…

There has to be something that i can do to somehow get it :persevere:

Use something like dropbox or google drive, they both store older versions of saved files and are both free.
