Remove trailing fails

#1

i have some old forth block files which have have forth sources on screens. each screen is 64 chars wide and 25 lines tall. there are no line endings in the file.
I ran the file through fold to inject a line ending at the 64th colum and i now have a readable source file. However, every single line is exactly 64 characters wide even if all it has on it is spaces.
Trim trailing white space on save is refusing to do its duty here and for some reason that escapes me there is no menu item to perform this operation

Did you try setting "trim_only_modified_white_space": false, in your preferences?

For what it’s worth, the Trim Trailing White Space command is available in the command palette, although it is indeed not listed in the menu (or bound to a key by default).
