Remove background transparency on Sublime HQ (Ubuntu 20.04)

ST HQ on Ubuntu 20.04, “dark theme” has the behavior on my setup:

  • on my laptop it shows a bit of transparency, that enables me to see the windows below
  • on my external screen, I don’t see the same transparency

I would like to remove the transparency.

Sublime doesn’t natively support window transparency of any kind; if you’re (literally) seeing through the window to the desktop below, that sounds like it would be a window manager issue of some sort.
