Remote file windows not opened on start up when offline

#1

I’m on 3085 on OS X (Yosemite), and this could have been introduced in this version or the previous one of ST. All my files for my project are stored on a SMB share that I mount after logging into my account. In previous versions, if the SMB share was not mounted and Sublime Text was launched, it would open up blank tabs for each of the files that were open when SMB was closed the last time. Then when I mount SMB, those files would automatically load and I could continue working where I left off. With the latest version when ST launches all those files tabs are closed and I have to open all the tabs over again manually after I mount SMB.
Is this a bug or has there been a settings change for this behavior?

Edit: Maybe this is a result of the changes in 3074 & 3075?
“remember_open_files setting is now hidden and defaults to false” - tried setting this to true but didn’t make a difference though.
“Improved change detection for files that disappear and reappear, as happens with disconnected network drives”

In the ST Console there are messages that say "Unable to open " for each of the files, so at least I can look there when I forget what tabs I had open. But I wish the tabs remained open for each of the files even if they are empty until the SMB share is remounted.

Another new behavior that I think is related to this issue is that after the SMB share is mounted the project/folders aren’t automatically refreshed, which I’m pretty sure was the case before. Now I have to do “Project->Refresh Folders” before I can access the files on the SMB share. Seems like ST used to refresh on its own before whenever files were changed on the server and would automatically reload the files themselves as well (unless they were changed and not saved).
