Remapping key to another key, globally

#1

I have the special pleasure of a 2016 MacBook Pro with a UK keyboard. This doesn’t have a physical escape key, but it does have an (otherwise entirely useless) § key in the place where escape might reasonably be. As such, I would like to configure Sublime so that § always acts as escape.

I can do this system-wide with Karabiner, but I would rather just do it directly in Sublime if possible. I realise I could set keybindings to each of the individual commands, but I was wondering if there was a shortcut?

how about just copying the keybindings that use Esc from the Default keybindings into your User keybindings and doing a find and replace to replace esc with §?

You’ll have to do the same for all plugins that have Esc in their keybindings too, ST doesn’t offer functionality to “remap” keys this way
