REGEX: Convert all worlds from "capital letters" to "lowercase" (with Diacritics / Accent Marks)?

Everyone should know this.

If I want to convert all worlds from “capital letters” to “lowercase” (with Diacritics / Accent Marks):

Find: ([A-Z])(.*)

Replace \L$1$2

The opposite case.

Convert all words from lowercase letter to capital letter (with Diacritics / Accent Marks):

Find: (\p{L})

Replace: \U\1

I might be missing your point, but can’t you just select the text you want and then do ctrl+k, ctrl+u for uppercase and ctrl+k, ctrl+l for lower case ?
It does just the letters.
