Range selection based on a pair of coordinates

Hi there,
Is there already a command that takes a pair of coordinates and selects that range?
Example: Select by range > [ :11:22 , :33:44 ] .
That is, I enter line 11 column 22 , line 33 column 44 , and then I get the selection of that range .
I know I can use [ go to , set mark , go to again , select up to mark ] , but what about a single command for these steps?
