Questions about color themes/schemes

Greetings,

I’m a long-time Sublime user. I started using it on RHEL 6 and now RHEL 8, but also now on Windows 11 as well as macOS 26. What I’m wondering is:

  1. What happened to the suite/set of color themes that used to be available in RHEL? The latest versions of Sublime that I have installed (Win 11 and macOS) don’t seem to come with very many themes and they aren’t as varied or interesting as the ones in the older version for RHEL.
  2. I have some of the newer themes (again, on my Sublime installations on Windows and macOS) that seem to have different names but not differences in appearance (or at least the differences are undetectable to my eye). No, I haven’t tabulated which ones fall into this category.
  3. Is there a place to download and install newer themes? Or do you have to customize the stock themes and save them as your own named themes?

  1. If you installed from the official Linux repository or download page, there is no difference in what color schemes come with ST. Maybe you previously had set show_legacy_color_schemes to true in your User preferences?
  2. Impossible to speculate what packages you have installed.
