[Question] Unexpected select 1 symbol, if mouse clicks

1. Summary

10—20 times in a day, when I move my carriage to any word, 1 symbol beside the carriage select unexpectedly.

Operating system and version:
Windows 10 Enterprise LTSB 64-bit EN
Sublime Text:
Build 3126

3. Steps to reproduce

1. Reproducing

I reproduce the problem in a version of Sublime Text without plugins and user settings.

2. Steps

I open any file in any syntax → left-clicks to any symbols. I’m trying not to move the mouse during clicks.

4. Expected behavior

No symbols selection.

I have expected behavior in Firefox.

5. Actual behavior

10—20 times in a day, 1 symbol select for me.

  1. Changing mouse speed via AutoHotkey.

What type of pointer hardware are you running?

X-Fire Cursors Pack. I think, only default cursors design change for me.

Sorry, I mean, what are you using for a mouse, trackpoint, touchpad, etc?

Mouse, that named Deimos. No trackpoint, touchpad and so on.

If you perform/do a double click on the showed character, is it fully selected or the whole word is selected?

I think it could be a hardware issue, where the mouse could be triggering a double click. It say so because the other day I noticed after a long time my cheap mouse was triggering a double click for the right button.
