Question about downgraded license

#1

I just noticed that my “forever free upgrades” license has been downgraded to “buy again Skyrim” one. Won’t comment on this, could have been much worse anyway.
Unfortunately right now i can’t afford to buy license again and have to use the existing for a while. How can i find which is the latest version of sublime text you allow me to use?

From our records your license was purchased August 2019, so build 4143 will probably work. Technically the dev build 4134 is the latest covered but there’s some lenience built in.

You got every update for Sublime Text 3 and we extended your license to cover some versions of 4 as well. If we hadn’t changed our licensing model you would not have gotten anything past ST3.

Not complaining, could have been much worse as i wrote. You could have used the money for “effective management” instead of providing continued development and support for example.

Also, by using Debian repository to upgrade and window managers, set to run ST full screen i actually managed to fail to notice for two years that it’s license key is no longer accepted. This makes me guess that keeping things this way until i can afford to buy new one may actually be better idea than experimenting if current plugins work on 2 years old ST version.
