Purchased license upgrade, never received anything

I purchased a license upgrade from ST3 to 4 the morning I was prompted
for the update (which happened to be an upgrade).

Above the upgrade form it says:

Upgrading a license will invalidate the previous license, and a new license will be sent to you.

Paid with PayPal, then got a message saying:

You sent a payment of $70,00 USD to Sublime HQ Pty Ltd.

Then nothing happened. I was never sent the new license file. After four days I sent this message to HQ:

I just went through my mailserver logs to see what I’ve missed, but as it turns out: nothing. You just never sent me a new license

Then nothing happened. It’s been 12 days since my purchase. What did I do wrong?

As I wrote, I even went a step further than that: I went through my mailserver logs. Nothing. I’m not sure what’s going on, because HQ is usually very responsive. Now, nothing, except for @bschaaf here on the forums.

That is really weird. I upgraded my license through buying the bundle(ST4 & SM2) and got my license in the mail quickly. And yes, I also used paypal for the transaction. Hope your problem gets resolved.

I am not sure how they process the license volume and mail requests (considering post public release, they’d probably be knee deep in answering support mails), but I’d just suggest putting a remainder mail to the sales support.

I had the same issue (few years ago). Mail to sales solved it.

Yes, I can imagine that they had a lot of mail to process, that’s why I’ve been patient. But that “LICENSE UPGRADE REQUIRED” message in all my ST4 windows is starting to annoy me slightly, after 12 days…

Kari just sent me the license, it seems it was never automatically sent (this is why I checked my mailserver logs). Issue closed.
