I purchased a license for Sublime Text last year, and I have happily been using it for the dev builds ever since.
Today when I opened Sublime it prompted me for the license file, and I have no idea why.
What would cause Sublime to suddenly forget it had a license key file? I haven’t changed any files within the directory Sublime is installed.
The only way I know of that happening would be the license file being removed or from the menu via Help > Remove License.
If you didn’t move the file, perhaps you accidentally hit that menu entry while doing something in the help menu (checking indexing status, etc)?

Not sure what happened to be honest, I don’t normally touch the Help menu.
I have my license from a back-up, so it’s all good.
