Problems opening Find Panel

#1

Hello

I’m experiencing a problem I haven’t seen before (searched in google and in the forum).

In OSX, when I use cmd+f to show the find panel it dosen’t show itself, but pressing escape key after that make it showing. If I change the key binding (e.g. cmd+g) it work perfectly on the first try.

Not really impacting problem, but has anybody else experienced a similar behavior ?

Ok so no one has EVER experience something like that ? Hitting CMD+F doesn’t show the find panel, but pressing escape immediately after finally make it showing up ?

Come on…

Never seen this problem. Do you have something else (console, etc) open? Are you using Vintageous?

Hello, thanks for answering me

Usually I don’t have console launched, but I have a lot of apps open.

I don’t use Vintageous, but here are the extensions i use:

Abacus
AdvancedNewFile
Inc-Dec-Values
Levels
Package Control
PyV8
Sass
Search in Browser
SmartMarkdown
Sublime Linter
Theme Nexus

It’s hard to say something specific. Emmet, Levels, PyV8, Search in Browser and Smart Markdown weren’t in my previous setup.

In fact, I noticed the change when I updated from beta to finale when it was published. At that time I had a somewhat messy setup of ST2, so I thought that I would fix it later. And finally, more than a year later I’ve reinstalled ST2 with old and new plugins, with a brand new folder in application support, no old settings remaining. And that bug again.

As I said, not a big pain but I was interrested to see if someone had the same and if there is a solution. :geek:

I might just try removing packages one at a time until it’s fixed… I’ve never heard of this problem.
